Fire Island's beloved July 4th tradition since 1976. Hundreds of drag queens gather at the Ice Palace in Cherry Grove around noon, then sail by chartered ferry into the Pines Harbor — where thousands greet them dockside as Grand Marshal Panzi welcomes each queen. All-day celebrations across the Waterfront, capped by fireworks over the harbor at 9:30pm.
